What is the Sydney International Bachata Festival?
For the past two years, our Dance Amor crew has been taking over the Sydney International Bachata Festival — and it’s always an absolute blast! From 7–11 May, Sydney becomes a dancer’s playground, packed with workshops, live shows, epic parties, and world-class instructors.
Come with us, bring your crew (or make one along the way), and get ready for five days of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

- Kick off with the Welcome Party, then dance through three unforgettable festival nights and the After Party!
- Three workshop rooms running all day — Bachata, Salsa, and more styles for every level.
- Live shows and performances with top-notch production that will leave you in awe.
- Three party rooms every night - Bachata, Salsa, and Kizomba/Zouk, so there’s always a floor to match your vibe.
- Live concert with an international Bachata singer and full band
- World-class international and Australian instructors, sharing their skills and party spirit.
