Wedding Dance Lessons
Wedding dance lessons near me? At Dance Amor aren’t choreographed to impress Kings and Queens (you can of course, if you want to!). We believe in keeping it classy and elegant, but at the same time in keeping it simple. Overly complicated wedding ballroom dance routines can make your performance look odd and stiff, stealing away the feeling of love between two people. After all, less is more, and beauty is in simplicity! In fact adult classes sometimes, some of our wedding couples find it a little hard to keep up with basic left right patterns, lifts, dips and turns – and we cater to that as well. We can further simplify such movements to extremely basic breakdowns that even a child will be able to follow! And you still get to look super cool 🙂.
Different Levels Welcome
For those of you who have danced before, either casually, just for fun, or at a more professional level, and think that you are capable of a fancier wedding dance classes choreographer, it shall be done for you. All those overwhelming dips, fast feet and sexy sways that you’ve been watching in romantic films and musicals can become a reality now! At the same time, we will ensure that the style of dancing we teach you matches your personality and communicates the passionate bond between you and your partner, out to the crowd.
However, if you are looking for a flawless, fancy, fabulous choreography, we recommend you to come in early, roughly around 12 months in advance, just so that we can structure your first wedding dance lessons accordingly and give enough time for it to take shape in the desired manner 🙂.
Bridal Waltz
The misconception about most bridal dances is that they have to be danced in Waltz. This is because in the olden times, most wedding ballroom dance were popular in Waltz music as it looked more royal and fancy; mainly reserved for the upper class. But nowadays, most modern music for weddings ranges from Rumba and Foxtrot for an elegant, casual look to Cha cha and Swing Dance for a more cheerful, bubbly dance.
 Wedding dance flexibility
Most wedding salsa dance classes near me for couples dance in the new generation, that come through our doors, are throwing in an element of surprise and entertainment for their guests. They start off with a simple in-place waddle, and burst out into a spicy Salsa or sensual Modern Bachata and people just can’t get enough of them.

If you are on a tight budget and not really sure if private wedding dance lessons near me will be a feasible choice for you, don’t get worked up, we can help you out.

Start a lot earlier than You think is Necessary
You can start learning up to 1 year in advance and spread out your classes more, instead of starting a month prior and spending too much money due to an overload of lessons. This will reduce your financial burden as it gives you more time to save up money and you also have the flexibility to pay in installments.
Take the responsibility of practicing as much as Possible
It’s not only about showing up for your lessons, learning from the instructor and going back home. You need to put in time and effort between lessons to practice more at home and keep perfecting your movements. Why we highly recommend this to those on a tight budget is because this will help you finish your choreography a lot faster because of more practice, and you’ll end up taking fewer lessons.
Come to as many group classes as possible in a Week
From Mon-Sat we have 2 group classes each every day, and they’re all different dance styles. If your wedding first dance lessons for beginners choreography is in Waltz or Kizomba, or a bit of both, you should come in for those specific group classes during the week, to help you pick up the step patterns of the style. These can help you in your wedding choreography, as it is essentially the same patterns that we teach you. This way you can take more group classes and salsa couple dance lessons and save heaps of money. It also speeds up your learning process as now your instructor only has to add the unique bits in the choreography and not waste time on teaching the basic patterns from scratch.
[*We try to finish your wedding choreography as soon as possible so that we can focus more on fine-tuning and perfecting your movements to make it look as natural as possible.]

I started dancing in 2009 and prior to coming to Dance Amor in 2013 have had in total about 80 hours of private lessons at 2 other dance schools, learning all different styles including Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, Samba.
I still remember my first time coming to Dance Amor. You would think that after those hours of dancing, when I asked to show what I knew in Cha Cha dance to determine the level I was at, I would be able to at least show the basic dance step patterns, no problems?!!! Well, I was put on the spot, felt really ashamed that I could barely show the basic pattern properly with wishy-washy timing. It was at this time, I got asked by the instructor: "Do you want to learn it properly from the start or do you want me to teach you the way you have been learning? I am happy to teach you either way".I told him that day I wanted to learn it properly & I haven't looked back since.
Within 2 months, I stopped going to other dance schools as I realized that Dance Amor can offer all that I needed to become a great dancer. What attracted to me the most about Dance Amor was it has always been a dance school Adelaide that is about ensuring that you are equipped with the necessity dance tools (i.e., patterns, footwork, musicality, partnership, body movements, turns styling), each at which you can continue to improve and master. Then when you go out dancing, you can choose to use them at will. The better you sharpen and master each one, the more confident you feel and the bigger the growth. The growth that I have experienced in both my dancing & mentality over the last 7 years have been tremendous. From being shy to introverted I am now confident & becoming the new best versions of myself everyday!!!
Through the vision of Dance Amor creating great dancers the shortest period of time,
I have recently witnessed an absolute beginner dance steps who started learning at Dance Amor for only 4 weeks, learned an entire advanced bachata routine in 5 days and performed it on the 6th day. This in the past would have taken me about 3 to 6 months. What I thought previously was impossible has been proven possible. That has had such a huge impact on continuing to push and inspire me to improve myself even more and pass on the knowledge to Dance Amor students.
Now results can be achieved within 45 minutes with performance achieved within 1 week.
I believe in the near future we can get a student to achieve learning dance and perform a routine within 1 day. I look forward to that day!!! More importantly what drive, positive energy and mindset that it will bring to the school, myself and for everyone who is part of it!!!
